Just updated to Desktop Client v7.1.90.  I cannot play any music.  Neither the play button, the space bar, nor the playback option in the menus work.  There is no playback at all.

Hi @Rowan_M @Arthur Oliveira @ZaZ0u can’t reproduce the same issue on that version, but as @bluezzbastardzz said, try to installed the most recent version. Here’s the link - Deezer 7.1.100 and let us know if problem is gone.

This update did the job: The play button is working again.

@José.Deezer  7.1.100 has the same issue. I was on 7.1.9 when this issue started yesterday, I have tried 7.1.9, 7.1.10 and 7.1.11 - uninstalling and resinstalling each version several times and tried with MS installer. The issue is persistent

Hello, indeed @Zaznetkherson @Arthur Oliveira @mikehalford55was a bad idea, as in conversations with developers, it is not about the version but about a condition that has been triggered. We are launching a fix that should hit 10% of the users by Wednesday and hopefully between Friday and next Monday, 100%.

Again, accept our apologies for the inconvenience this issue is causing, and thanks for flagging it.

Just FYI, my Desktop app (Windows) was not working at all, same as you all. Different versions showed the same issue but closing the app then going to Users/[profile]/App Data/Roaming/Deezer and then deleting everything in that folder then starting the app up again fixed it.

@duggimon  I had tried the same as you. I also removed all references to Deezer in the registry, rebooted and reinstalled and I still had the problem. However, that was yesterday and it’s working fine so far today.

 Hi there,

I just tried that.

It works, but as soon as I closed the app and opened it again, this fix did not work anymore.

So, unfortunately, there is no fix yet, for me at least.

Windows 11 user here.

For what it is worth: yesterday evening 7.1.110 wasn’t working anymore for me, this morning it does again. 😜 Internal scrobbling of course not.

Windows 11 and version 7.1.110, randomly stops working. I don’t have the problem with the Mac client on my machine at home.

You have a completely broken Windows app - is that really the fastest you can roll out a fix?

Literally considering switching back to Spotify by now. The app is not working for like a week for me now and I have to wait for nearly another week?
