Play button no longer functioning

Just updated to Desktop Client v7.1.90.  I cannot play any music.  Neither the play button, the space bar, nor the playback option in the menus work.  There is no playback at all.

Hi ​@Rowan_M ​@Arthur Oliveira ​@ZaZ0u can’t reproduce the same issue on that version, but as ​@bluezzbastardzz said, try to installed the most recent version. Here’s the link - Deezer 7.1.100 and let us know if problem is gone.

 

 

This update did the job: The play button is working again.

My desktop app is also giving me this same issue and its really starting to bug me.

I also had this yesterday morning with version 7.1.90 on Windows 10, the web player still worked though. In the afternoon it suddenly started to work for me again, no idea why. Today is Release Radar Friday for me, so I will not use Deezer and cannot tell if it is broken again. I also just got a new desktop version 7.1.100 from the MS Store, so maybe there already is a fix for it. For me it seems to work right now.

I had same problem . Installing 7.1.100 fixed that.

Same problem since yesterday afternoon.  7.1.110 on Win 10. I tried it on 2 PCs with no avail. 

Play doesn`t work. Android plays ok though.

Same issue here on Win 10.

Reinstalled 7.1.100 just in case but still not working on PC.

Android is fine.

I have no problems with Deezer 7.1.110. The play button works without problems.

Isn’t deleting the old Deezer and then installing 7.1.110 not an option?

I’ve tried that. I completely uninstalled the desktop app and reinstalled a fresh version of 7.1.110 and the play button still doesn’t work.

Right, same thing for me again, latest 7.1.110 from the MS Store did work previously, but this morning play buttons did not react and start playback anymore. I wonder what they are doing with the desktop app over there. The web player still works, so I’m using that at the moment with the Web Scrobbler browser extension, as the internal Deezer scrobbling also still seems to be lagging about a whole day or not working anymore at all.

Same random error also present with last android beta. After few hours of reinstall have content load error

Well, I’ve just launched the Deezer Windows app and although it worked at first, the play button has now stopped working. I select an album, I can see it’s highlighted, but it simply won’t play. As ​@bluezzbastardzz mentioned, the website version still works. Strange.


 

That's annoying, this problem came back again. It's getting harder every day to remain a Deezer customer, every week it's a different bug.

And this morning 7.1.110 works again, curious how long this will take this time. 😜 I wonder if this has to do with a temporary overload somewhere, e.g. too many new desktop users trying to use it at busy times of the day and not at all with the specific version of the desktop app.

Reinstall app not solwing problem

 


I have this problem (play button on Windows App (Windows 10) not working). I have tried removing and reinstalling the app several time and the problem persists. version 7.1.110 is not working. The problem started yesterday with version 7.1.09 (?)

Update 7.1.12 not fixing anything. Any track not playing. Downloaded tracks too
