I have an LG WK7 smart speaker and have been using it for a couple of years with my streaming music service, currently Deezer. For some reason tonight it will not play any music from the service. It is still connected to the internet, and Google assistant is still working. However when I connect to start streaming music it just gets stuck and won’t play anything. I can cast my audio, but I don’t want to have to do that all of the time as I’d rather the speaker took over and I could still use my phone for other things. Has anyone seen anything similar to this and has ideas how to solve? I’ve tried resetting the device and re adding it to the home, but no luck!

I have the exact same problem. I have reset, delinked, signed out of Deezer, signed back in, spoken to it nicely and it still won't play deezer despite it confirming back that it is playing music on Deezer. Very frustrating!!


Interesting that the speaker works fine with Spotify..... Deezer, this is something at your end. 🙄


Now casting isn't working, the speaker makes that 'duh' sound to let me know it's trying to connect, but no content arrives from Deezer. Sorry guys I'm moving to Spotify or Tidal if that isn't resolved soon.

Same issue for me.


Looks like an expired certificate is the issue:

However how come Spotify works fine?

Can Deezer provide us with an update urgently?
