Anyone know of a plugin for Deezer that will work with KODI? I found a plugin on github (from 2017), but it doesn’t work.

Hi there @mcdanjw

As it isn't officially supported by us, we're unable to make any recommendations. But perhaps the rest of the community can share their thoughts with you

I hope so! I exclusively use Kodi in my entertainment center to play back audio.  It gives me the ability to control everything with my Logitech universal remote which is so much easier than the official desktop Deezer app and mouse. Ultimately it’s probably a deal killer for Deezer and me. I’ve posted on the KODI forums too. I wish I was a programmer and could just figure it out myself.

@mcdanjw watch this video and follow the steps and it should work.

It worked for me.

In plugin repo there is a a notice about “in 128kb resolution only” :(

Need a solution for HiFi subscription.

We'll pass the request on @AlexRozen, thank you :thumbsup_tone2:

@Rudi I have used just about every stream service available and I really enjoy yours. The creation of a official application for Kodi would really be beneficial to us. Please I plead with you to consider this. I'm currently using the unofficial version and even though it has limitations, it's really made my life that much easier.

Personally I believe this is a must have. Other platforms (spotify and tidal) have excellent support for Kodi, allowing to listen to hifi audio.

I am enjoying Deezer a lot, but the lack of a Kodi plugin and the lack of a Linux application really bugs me. I’d love to see something in that direction.

Hope you’ll consider it.

I agree. The abysmal app situation is dragging deezer down where it doesn’t belong. The lack of official, polished Linux and Kodi apps leaves quite the gap.

Sadly, you can add the lack of full Android TV, Roku and Fire TV apps to your list.
