Question

How can I remove songs that are in one playlist, from another playlist?

I’m trying to clean up my playlists.

Currently I have a playlist (A) with songs that are in 2 playlists (A+B).
I want to remove all songs from playlist (B), which are in playlist (A).

Is there a way to do this that does not require me to tap each song i want to remove in playlist (B)?

I found no way in the WebApp, the DesktopApp or the AndriodApp.

Thank you!

Hi @MipMcMipton !

There is an option to remove all songs from the playlist by clicking on
the checkbox at the top of the list to select all tracks, and then select Remove from playlist.
But to remove individual songs, you must check them one by one.

The most efficient method is using the web interface on a computer.

Open the playlist and check the boxes for the songs you want to remove.
When you are done checking, go back to the top of the checkbox and click on the 3 dots to open the "Remove from playlist" option.

Hi @Nina Nebo

Thank you for the reply but this is not what i meant.

Your solution would be removing all songs in playlist (A) from playlist (A).
What I want to do is, remove all songs in playlist (A) from playlist (B).

This is not possible.
You can only remove songs that are on playlist A.
If you want to remove songs that are on playlist B, you have to go to playlist B. You cannot remove them while you are on playlist A.

@Nina Nebo

Ok, thx for the reply.

Can I then select multiple songs at once in a playlist? For example with shift?

@MipMcMipton !

 On desktop, you can select multiple songs via checkboxes for faster deletion (image below)

This works for playlists you have created, but not for curated, collaborative, or editorial playlists.

You can use the checkbox at the top of the tracklist on the desktop site to select all songs and remove them in bulk.

Removing songs from a Deezer playlist is done by opening the playlist, selecting the three-dot menu next to a specific song, and choosing "Remove from playlist".

Or you can select specific songs via the checkboxes on the right.
When you are done selecting individual songs to delete, click the 3 dots above next to the main checkbox to select the "Remove from playlist" option .
