flac on soundbar

Hi, I wait for delivery of my new q800b samsung soundbar. Just wonder how to play flac ? Using bluetooth will have mp3 quality only ....is it way to put app to smart thing samsung app ? Or other option?

      Try what I said before, you can send it FLAC on other ways, like through your Wi-Fi, Deezer Connect or AirPlay if you will do it through an iPhone, for example. 👌🏼

      Through your Wi-Fi or Deezer Connect it should be Flac.

      This soundbar has built-in chromecast right? If you cast Deezer in HiFi quality, you play flac files through yourq 800b soundbar

      Dude, the deezer app itself has a cast button

      Can anyone help ? I have never had problems with any audio ...maybe I do something wrong ? I try samsung music app but can’t see my sounbar , Deezer can’t see soundbar ….only option is via tv or Bluetooth, but I want use Flac I paying for monthly

      Hey you can only liste on Flac if you are using a Samsung Wireless Audio 360  device:

      The Samsung Q800B Soundbar has no built in chromecast. 
      But it has an optical digital input port and Apple Airplay support. So i suggest either using the Deezer app on an Apple device or connecting a chromecast device to the optical input.

          Just connect for now firestick directly to bar, and have dolby digital plus , well better something than nothing

          Well, but Deezer doesn‘t offer Dolby Digital Audio and besides this theDeezer app for fire tv isn’t supported any longer. 
          So imho a fire tv stick wouldn’t be a solution to play hifi music from Deezer ob your soundbar.
