Can’t control Deezer desktop from phone. It’s not like I gave my password to someone else and they’re not authorized. These are both my devices and I am using the phone to control the desktop app so I’m not even tying to play two different songs via the same account or something like that. Please adjust the license sensitivity so this app can actually work as intended.

Tried updating the app on my phone and it just did a different non-functional thing. Can you guys fix this please? I thought this was a feature but I have rarely been able to get it to work properly.

Hi @awsteenoh !

You can’t play music on phone and desktop in same time .

With Deezer Premium and Deezer Student, you can link up to three devices to your account. It's important to note that you can only play music on one of the three devices at any one time. These subscription offers are designed for individual users, not multiple users or families.

I’m not trying to play music on the desktop and phone app at the same time.

Like I explained, I am trying to select a song from the iOS app to be played on my desktop app which is on the same wifi and is connected to my speakers.

To explain it another way, I am using the phone as a “remote”.

Again, not trying to play two songs at the same time or something like that. And Deezer is only on two of my devices so that’s also not the issue.

I will start another thread if I do not get an appropriate answer because this issue is not “solved” like the thread now implies.

When you use phone like the remote control ,then you need in Deezer Connect select a device from which your music will play .

Did you @awsteenoh do that ?

That is what caused the error.

Step 1: play music on phone

Step 2: select speaker/device (my laptop via the deskop app)

Step 3: error or freezing or plays one song then when you try to change it it freezes

To clarify: step 2 is done via the phone so I select the output device via the iOS app. Hopefully that is clear now
