Direct play from Deezer to Sonos

How is this coming? I'm currently leaving Spotify due to the new “tik-tok-style"-app, which f-ed up the UX. But I'd really like this feature so I can choose Deezer over Tidal. Tnx.

I’m so happy in the car when I can use the real app. 

Come home to my 3K sonos system, and it makes me use the sonos app. So sad...

I have waited for years now for this feature. So sad that this is not happening. I am deeply disappointed by Deezer.

I’ve bought a Sonos last week and yes, it works fine while using the Sonos app, but hopefully there will be an update. And after this update we will be able to use Deezer and Sonos.

This is an Android issue, I take it? I just AirPlay directly from the deezer app to my Sonos.

If I use my Android phone or tablet I have to use the Sonos app to stream music from Deezer to my Sonos speaker.

And if I use my iPhone from work I can stream directly from Deezer while using AirPlay.

Don’t get me wrong, it works fine this way using the Sonos app. I’m glad that it works.

Its been 5 years since the initial request. WHEN are you going to implement?

The sonos "Flows" cycle through the same old artists and tracks i am not interested in hearing anymore. Is there a way to atleast refresh the algorithm from the deezer app that sonos can read?

Hi @Mdkharris1, indeed it has been a long time since users started to request there.

We are working very closely with Sonos to bring every year new features, but I can’t tell when this feature to connect Deezer to Sonos will be available.

The only way to play directly from Deezer to Sonos is when you use an iPhone or iPad while using Airplay.

But when using this on a Android phone or tablet, the only option is their own Sonos app.

At the slight risk of sounding pedantic, Sonos Voice Control is another, quite viable, option for playing directly to Sonos, and with deezer being one of the few services compatible, it’s a huge plus that shouldn’t be overlooked.

I set deezer as my default service on Sonos, and do much of my listening through voice requests.
