I set deezer as my default service on Sonos, and do much of my listening through voice requests.

I’ve got an Ikea/Sonos Symfonisk picture speaker. This has no voice option.

The Sonos app does work, but it has it flaws (see video). The playlist keeps on getting back to the beginning after viewing the home screen. I already been in contact with Sonos about this. But I would prefer using the Deezer app instead of the Sonos app. So even after 5 years I keep on hoping that this could be possible in the future.

Hi @awesomemac, thank you for your message.

Sonos Voice Control is currently only available in the United States and France, so since you are from the Netherlands, it won't be available for you for now.

More info about Sonos voice here.

Regarding the issue of the "playlist returning to the beginning after viewing the home screen," as this seems to be on Sonos side, er have already report this to them to see how this can be resolved.

We appreciate your preference for using the Deezer app instead of Sonos. We are collaborating closely with Sonos to make this option available, but we do not have an estimated time for its implementation.

Hello everyone, unfortunately this was a project that was pushed back several times.

We apologise for that, and understand your frustration.

We are currently re working on it and I am confident this time will be the good one!

Is there an update on when this will be?

Come on guys, please please please get this up and running - this thread has been going for five years now.

Hi @Andrew71 @Gogg, thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately, we still don't have any updates regarding this matter.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

@Leonídia.Deezer that seems crazy, it's some simple API stuff, it would take a Dev a week or two to build this feature for Sonos and all the other major streaming services like Bluesound, Cambridge etc.

Hi, I thought I'd recommend the method I use to everyone. I usually use ****** to batch download my favorite Deezer playlists to a local computer, which can be a Windows or Mac computer, and then open the Sonos app for MacOS or Windows. From the Administration menu, select Music Library Settings. Click the + (plus sign) button on MacOS or the Add button if you're using Windows. Then select Deezer songs that have been locally converted to popular audio formats and add them to Sonos.

This tool is called ????

This doesn't resolve the trouble of wanting to use the Deezer app to control the music playing on Sonos
