Desktop Sidebar - custom ordering

I recently migrated from Spotify and have a ton of playlists. The ordering and selection of playlists in the sidebar seems to be locked - that is, I have not been able to find a way to order, pin, or otherwise organize my playlists so that the ones I listen to most are within easy reach or visible at all.

Is there a way to customize the playlists shown in the sidebar that i have not found?

I am using the desktop app on both Mac and Windows PC

Hi @aryman !

On the right side of the sidebar, under the inscription Playlists, there are playlists to which you have added a song. As you add songs to individual playlists, their order changes and it is impossible to arrange them differently.

Above that is the Quick Access option where you can pin quick access to your playlists or albums (you can pin up to 8)

@Nina Nebo thank you, i really appreciate your answer! Unfortunately the Quick access doesn’t work for me as described in the article (either in desktop or iOS). I don’t see an option to update my apps so I’m assuming I have the latest versions (PC 7.1.10 and iOS 11.0.0.3) but I don’t see the Quick Access section in Home, and long pressing in the app doesn’t work on anything.

But even if it were working, pinning 8 favorite items out of 200 personal playlists (not to mention favorite albums, shared playlists, etc) doesn’t give the functionality I’m looking for.

knowing i can edit a playlist to have it show up at the top of the sidebar is a useful hack, but not ideal - i still have no real control over that sidebar and having so many items I want to be able to access quickly in an expected, known order, it would just be dead space for me. would love to see something similar to Spotify where playlists can be managed in a custom order and put into folders.

anyway, just trying to explain my use case better/think through as it seems like this may become a feature request. thank you again for your response!
