Deezer x Sonos

Yeah, whose side is this on? Deezer or Sonos? If it’s Sonos it probably won’t get fixed anytime soon. If it’s Deezer it would seem like they could go and add back some of their playlist functionality to Sonos. We really need this. 

@Myk666 I would strongly recommend to visit the Sonos Community and follow up and all the updates of their new app.

They are absolutely useless over there. I and others have raised it. Nothing happens. Sonos are in a complete mess at the moment. They're not even sticking to their release schedule.

I recently switched from Spotify. I often use Sonos app, and it's great.

But sometimes, I prefer switching to Sonos output from music app. My Sonos units used to appear on Spotify app, but not on Deezer when clicking on Deezer Connect icon.

Is there a way to do it ?  (and yes, I am on the same wifi)

Deezer Connect will not work here.

For Sonos, you are able to use the Sonos app or Sonos Voice Control (if you are in a supported region). There is no option to play directly from the Deezer app.

It is a bad news, Sonos interface is way less friendly and complete than Deezer. And competitors propose such gateway directly from their app. I don't understand this gap while Deezer is claiming big partnership with Sonos... 🙄

i switch a couple of weeks from spotify to Deezer for price… but now i’m crying about missing feature like sonos integration 😭. 

one of the example, i was in rb&b for the week end, owner have sonos speaker… i wasn’t able to listen music from Deezer as i’m not able to add deezer application on the RB&B apprtment system system… as soon as possible i will jump back to spotify to enjoy music when i want and not only on my owned device.

Wasn’t it possible to ask the owner to add Deezer to the Sonos system? Was it possible to use the Sonos app with other music steaming services?

I recently switched to Deezer from Spotify. Lack of integration with Sonos in the Deezer app interface is a severe issue. I cannot come back home and switch the output device from my phone to my Sonos device. I can just use the Sonos app, whose interface is much worse than the Dezer app. This makes mu use experience much worse compared to Spotify. Is Deezer ever willing to add a decent Deezer Connect feature?
