How to unlink my fitbit versa2 from my Deezer account

I had the same issue but I managed to solve it.

The key is to unlink your Fitbit watch app from your Deezer account and then link it again from the start.

When you tap on the Deezer voice inside “Media” in the Fitbit app “quickly”* tap on the upper-right three dots menu and select the “Unlink account” (or similar) voice. This will disconnect the app.

Now you can follow again the link Fitbit ↔ Deezer following the standard guide https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360000552849-Deezer-on-Fitbit

When you have completed the steps in the guide you have to synchronize your playlists as they will never be there. After that, you can start listening to your music again.

I am not sure the issue will not appear again after a while (since I have just solved it) but, at least, we have a workaround.

Hope it helps,

Giuseppe

Thank you so very much! Fitbit Twitter support was not very helpful. You, on the other hand, were extremely helpful!!!

Hi there,

I am having the same problem for at least two weeks :(

I had reinstall the app but it changed nothing. But if I can reinstall the app, I imagine, that the WiFi connection is working prooperly

I tried the same initially, but then followed the steps by @grational above and that worked.

@grational solution is not working for me. Now i cannot even log in

I’ve had the same issue for over 2 weeks now and nothing works.  I have reached out to Fitbit and they have had me do everything up to and including the factory reset.  It got slightly better after that because instead of the “subscription expired” notification, it  now says “uh oh there was a problem reaching server”  SO while nothing worked at least the message changed..haha

I still say it’s a Fitbit issue since Deezer works fine on my phone, but Fitbit seems to think it’s a Deezer issue.  Either way I’m pissed and frustrated with this.  Obviously there was some kind of update one of these companies did and it’s now not compatible.  I guess I may just get rid of both watch and service and find something else if this goes on much longer.

The given solution above is working for me too!

I was able to access my playlists again after un-linking and re-linking my account.  What a pain.

Same is happening to me.  I've contacted Fitbit several times,  tried everything 3x over and nothing works.  The issue seems to be that when you click on media it immediately drops the wifi connection so Deezer doesn't work.  However,  like others posted, seems to be a fitbit issue that they won't take responsibility for.  I tried the 3 dots before the message pops up but it won't work for me.  I'm so angry and frustrated.   Any advice?

I just saw the email from Fitbit saying they will no longer be supporting deezer! Such a shame as was one of the reasons I bought the Fitbit sense
