Deezer HiFi for Denon HEOS and Denon / Marantz HEOS built-in devices

Does is play also 24 bit or only 16 bit? What is showing as sound quality?

It only plays 16-bit. I’m happy with that, given how long it took for us to get here. Before today, the only way to get FLAC audio to my Marantz DVR was to use the Deezer app plus a Google TV box (Chromecast). That’s 24-bit. But honestly, I can’t tell the difference between 16 and 24-bit. 

On headphones connected with headphones amplifier/DAC I hear the differences between 24 bit and 16 bit. On 2x Heos 7 paired or Heos Bar+2Heos3+Heos Sub I hear it only at well known songs...so, yes maybe it's not a big deal. But Tidal is half priced and has 24 bit audio and newly Tidal connect that can directly connect to Heos speakers without the Heos app. Despite hating Tidal playlist explorer and pro-black music direction, I cannot come back to Deezer. In 2024 , when internet bandwidth is not a problem anymore, I find it lack of clients respect to offer only 16 bit! But I guess it's the same attitude as this Heos-Deezer problem that took them years to solve...

How is this error solved please. My network speeds are good and Tidal streams on the same HEOS system without a hitch.

Have you tried removing Deezer from Heos and re-linking it? That’s a likely solution. 

Hi ​@Mister_Sterling Thanks very much for your suggestion. As I was removing Deezer from HEOS I discovered that the Deezer account in HEOS app was not the same account as in the Deezer app in the phone, HEOS was automatically adding a Deezer account linked to Gmail address used to sign to play store in the android phone. After deleting Gmail Deezer account using a computer web browser I am now able to add the right Deezer account to HEOS. Now I can "Deezer flow" inside HEOS.

New here! Managed to connect Deezer hifi to my HEOS account and can play from heos, but i’m unable to change tracks on my browser or phone trough the Deezer app, like i could do on my Spotify account trough spotify connect before.

Don’t like the Heos app for playing, to many layers, not snappy, and unable to continue an album when selecting a song halfway the album. So prefer the online/app interface, but then i cannot connect to my receiver lossless. Am i missing something?
