Windows 10 with Firefox, deezer freezes between tracks constantly, sometimes it’ll start after a few seconds, other times, it won’t until I hover over the tab. Pretty annoyed because I never had any problems at all until a few months ago when uploaded mp3s stopped working, and now that’s fixed, I still can’t listen to my music properly.

When there is a problem playing music on Deezer web app, this should be checked :

  • your browser may have missed an update
  • try clearing your browser cache
  • reduce your open tabs: How many browser tabs do you have open?
  • check for any Flash blockers, Ad blockers or security plugins

If that doesn't help then you should contact Deezer support / Chat

My browser is fully up-to-date and I cleared the cache a few days ago when I was having problems with another extension that was preventing anything from playing at all. I do have an ab blocker, but I’ll be honest, I’m not really willing to turn it off, last time I tried doing that I got as many adverts as I did songs, at a higher volume, which was just as unlistenable.

@sushigal007

Which Deezer subscription do you have, Free or Premium?

Apparently something happened to your browser and ad blocker when you downloaded the MP3 and now you are no longer able to Block Deezer Ads on your Deezer Free .

Have you considered getting Deezer Premium instead !?

Well, this one went away for a while, but now it’s back and worse than before - now, instead of just freezing between tracks and then maybe resuming playback after a while or if I hover over the tab, it just stops playing at all. I’ll play a track. then it’ll stop. I switch to the tab, hit play, it’ll play the next two tracks, then stop again. I switch tabs again, I hit play, two tracks, stops. So back to Winamp again, because I don’t want to be spending my time babysitting the playlist. And I’m still not considering getting premium. Why would I, when the free version is so badly broken? I pay for extra features, not basic functions like playing more than two songs in a row.
