I’m encountering an issue with the Deezer for Windows app. When I try to open the app, it automatically launches my computer's default browser, asking for my Deezer login details and requiring me to complete a Captcha. After successfully logging in, I press "Open Deezer Music," but nothing happens.
I’m currently paying for a subscription, but I’m unable to access the music I’ve paid for, which is frustrating and disappointing. I’m reconsidering my subscription because of this issue.
Additionally, I don’t believe I should need to be online or use a browser to log into an app where I have downloaded music that I’ve already paid for.
Could you please assist in resolving this problem?
Thank you.

I am experiencing the same problem.
Open the desktop app, click login.
The browser (Edge or Chrome) launches and opens Deezer authentication site.
The page display’s “Authentication, You’re in !”
The Deezer Desktop App briefly opens but then closes immediately.
In the browser, Click on the “Open Deezer Music” button.
Same as no4 above.
I have tried
logging out and back in.
Uninstalling and re-installing.
Tried Edge and Chrome.
Checked the browser permissions and security settings.
Before re-installing the behavior was slightly different. I was stuck in an endless cycle where the Deezer app opens but shows the login screen again after successful authentication.
I am sick and tired of Deezer’s poor app quality. To add to the insult, their first response is to tell you to “re-install” the app (and unapologetically tell you that you will have to download all your music again).
I am also angered by the Apps (Desktop and Android) just stopping in the middle of my playlist, because a song, that used to play, suddenly no longer plays. This happens because Deezer decides that a song is no longer available, even though I have it downloaded.
Does anyone have the previous version so that we can roll back. ?
I have the same issue, i do start app, it ask for login, I press “Log in”, it opens browser where i already logged in, browser ask if I allow to pass data back to app, Im roger that and then app crashes (or not, but it just closes). Nothing in EventViewer i can find, no any logs in installation folder, nothing in temp. I know (I think) it works on electron, so my attempts to see bug via native window’ stuff was failed with an obvious reason, even attaching to process with VS had no sense, it just terminates when app closes.
Yesterday it worked fine, now in the morning i have allowed window to install some update (KB5043064), after that tried Deezer and it stopped working. Not sure if related but letting you know.
Its very much critical issue, its impossible to work in silence!!!!
p.s. if you need any logs, tests on device with bug, etc - feel free to email me. i have zero experience with electron but im developer too so it may help in find a bug i hope
