i saw answers from years ago saying that crossfade setting will be implemented “soon” or “in the coming year” (6 years ago) but PLEASE can we know how soon ?

honestly such a basic feature i don’t understand how it is not yet on the desktop app or web player …

Deezer develops and tests audio features like crossfade on mobile operating systems (iOS and Android via Deezer Labs).

On Desktop web is technical limitations in browsers .
Handling precise buffer timing, audio mixing, and seamless track-to-track transitions across various web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) requires separate audio-engine architecture compared to native mobile apps.
