Hi
Since few days, on the Mac app, i’ve got an ‘MS0610’ error when i start a track - previously downloaded - when i’m connected to my company network, which blocks music streams.
It used to work properly before.
Errors (no code) often occurs when offline…

note: I tried to restarts several times, cleared the cache as well, and  the app is up-to-date.

Regards

Hi @jc75 could you please send me a screenshot with the error message in order to help you.
Thanks

Hi Jaime,
here the screenshot.
Locally downloaded tracks used to work before when connected to a ‘blocking’ network…

I tried to uninstall / reinstall the mac app without success.

Kind regards

Hi @Daviator, thanks for your messages.

The MS0610 error you're getting is basically about waiting too long for the track to play. It's probably connected to your internet connection.

So, our suggestion is to unplug your router from the power for about 30 seconds to give it a full reset.

If the error keeps popping up, it's a good idea to contact your internet provider to see if there's a technical issue on their end.

Hi @Leonídia.Deezer thanks for your reply. But my laptop is connected to the same network, same OS, same Deezer version and everything is working fine. It has something to do with the encrypted DNS resolver. If I disable the encrypted DNS everything works on both machines. Once I encrypt the DNS over QUIC the error starts to appear. I will enable the QUIC encryption again and see if an update has fixed it.

Hi sorry but I think there was a mistake and that 2 issues has been mixed ;)

Anyway, for me the main problem is that the MS0610 error should not appear with downloaded track since those tracks should be downloaded locally and no connection/api call should be done to the server when playing it - that’s why I downloaded the track before.
Are they really downloaded ? not sure…

Please , THIS topic is not answered for me (maybe Daviator’s one is but not mine) thanx!

Hi @jc75 from our knowledge base the information that is display for the error MS0610 is indeed a timeout error for network connection, which should appear on tracks downloaded.

Could you be so kind and send us a video, showing the step by step you do, where we can see that you are offline, track as been download and you get that error message.

Please provide with that video or screenshots if it is easier, OS version of your PC, version of the desktop app and if you use any VPN or encrypted DNS that might cause this conflict.

Also, could you try to clear cache in the Desktop app, download again the content and play it again in offline mode.

Let me know the outcome and information requested. Thanks

If you can't play downloaded music when connected to a network blocking streaming, try enabling offline mode in your music app or accessing the files directly from your device's storage.

Thanx @Abu huraira Mughal , @Leonídia.Deezer
i’m on MacOs Monterey (12.7.2), with deezer in 6.0.90 (240).
I tried several times to clear the cache / delete datas and re-download tracks without success.
I’m not able to find the Offline Mode toggle button on the MAC desktop app (whereas i can find it easily on the IOS app).
To me, conflit (vpn , dns) should not occur on downloaded track as there should be no client server connexion in that use case (Offline mode), and as i said previously it use to work a month ago.
Let me know if i miss the offline mode somewhere in the desktop app.

Kind regards
JC
