3-dot menu not hiding in web app

Is this only happening to someone else? In the web app, when I select an option from the  “3 dot” menu it does not hide automatically like it used to do.

I mean, first I click the “3 dot” menu on ANY element (song, album, playlist), then I select an action like “listen next”, “add to queue” the action gets performed but the menu does not hide automatically.

When I use  “add to playlist...” and after adding the track the menu also doesn’t hide. The menu does not even hide when adding a track to a playlist using the button at the left of the play button in the main bottom bar.

Some months ago it worked normally but for about 2 months it is not working properly.

It is not about my web browser because it has received all the updates. It is not about cache or refreshing because I have done it many times along to many computer reboots. I use firefox.

Is someone experiencing this problem? I tried to report the issue but I received only “bot replies” suggesting me to try the obvious and not creating any report at all.

Hi @rafar

This is a known, ongoing UI bug reported on the Deezer Community platform where the three-dot context menu remains frozen on the screen after a track is added to a playlist.

🛠️ Quick Workarounds to Dismiss the Menu
Press the Esc key: Tapping Esc on your keyboard will manually force active dropdown overlays and menus to close.
Click the player bar icon: If you are using the main bottom bar to add a song, clicking the playlist icon next to the play controls can toggle the overlay state shut.
Reload the player: A quick tap of F5 or Ctrl + R resets the frozen interface elements without interrupting your login session.

🦊 Firefox Specific Troubleshoots
Sometimes, aggressive adblockers or privacy extensions interfere with Deezer's web scripts, stopping menus from functioning smoothly.
Test in Private Browsing: Open a Private Window (Ctrl + Shift + P) and log into Deezer Web. If the menu closes properly there, a browser extension or a corrupted cache file is causing the glitch.
Disable Cookie/Ad Blockers Temporarily: Aggressive extensions (such as "I don't care about cookies" or script-blockers) are known to break the player's interface mechanics. Try pausing your content blocker for Deezer to check if the menu behavior normalizes.
Clear Deezer Site Data: Click the padlock icon 🔒 on the left side of your Firefox address bar, select Clear cookies and site data, and then refresh the page.

If the menu still hangs persistently after trying these steps, consider utilizing the official Deezer Desktop App as a workaround while their web development team rolls out a patch for Firefox users.
