Various Metal Rock Album Covers can sometimes be very disturbing and controversial.


Here is the TOP 10  :

 

1.   Butchered At Birth by Cannibal Corpse

Butchered at Birth is the second studio album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. It was released on July 1, 1991 .

 

 

2.   Humanure by Cattle Decapitation 

Humanure is the second studio album by American deathgrind band Cattle Decapitation.[ It was released on July 13, 2004 and has been noted for its iconic cover art, depicting a cow defecating what appears to be human body parts in a wasteland environment — the image has been compared to the artwork for Pink Floyd’s album Atom Heart Mother. Humanure generated some minor controversy around the time of release for its obscene imagery.

 

 

3.   The Last Gasp by Impaled

Internationally infamous and a name in the metal underground for over 10 years, Impaled returns with their fourth full-length recording. Bound to please their loyal following and completely disgust the unwary, “The Last Gasp” is an album wrapped in wit and guts with scalpel-sharp riffs sure to slice and dice!!!

 

 

4.   Prowler In the Yard by Pig Destroyer 

Prowler in the Yard is the second studio album by American grindcore band Pig Destroyer. It was released on July 24, 2001, on Relapse Records. The album follows a dark and twisted story of love, obsession, and gore.
Bobby Steele of Misfits and the Undead is featured as the person on the front cover.

Continuing in the style of Reifert's former band Death, the album's lyrical themes draw heavily on horror, death and gore concepts, and is a pioneer of gore lyrics. Although the tracks are not inspired directly by horror films, the title track is based on Stephen King's short story "Survivor Type."

Inhuman Grotesqueries is an extremely brutal and insane blend of death/grind that sees MALIGNANCY pushing boundaries in all areas.

 

 

10.  Inbreeding the Anthropophagi by Deeds Of Flesh

Inbreeding the Anthropophagi is the second full-length album by the American death metal band Deeds of Flesh.
The album revolves around the legend of Sawney Bean and his family, telling of their cave-dwelling existence and grisly practice of attacking travellers on local roads for food and profit.

@Nina Nebo I think this band makes a choice in these offensive album covers because they want to show that they are AGAINST the establishment or to shock. Negative attention is also attention.

Also in metal rock music the most topics are dark subjects and they sing about death and destruction so they have disturbing album covers .
