Who qualifies as a  GENERATION X ?

Generation X (often shortened to Gen X) refers to people born 1965 - 1980. This demographic cohort is known for being "middle children" in terms of generations, positioned between the larger Baby Boomer generation that preceded them and the Millennial generation that followed.  This generation grew up during a time of significant societal shifts, including the rise of technology and increased divorce rates.

Gen Xers grew up with mixtapes, MTV, and mobile phones the size of bricks. These days, they're building careers, investing smartly, and staying plugged into the latest tech.

So, I’m from 1976, so I’m part of Generation X 😀

For me the 80s music is what I listened to. And later in the 90s I started to listen to the music I still listen to: AOR, Melodic Rock and some metal.
And I think it started with Stan Bush and his Transformer album from the animated Transformer movie from 1984.
