Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about ways to make music discovery a bit more interactive and fun inside Deezer, and I had an idea inspired by word puzzle games like Letter Boxed.

What if Deezer introduced a daily “word chain” or letter-based challenge, where users discover songs by linking them through words? For example:

  • The last word of one song title becomes the first word of the next
  • Or users build a chain using limited letters (like a puzzle)
  • Bonus points if all songs come from different artists or genres

This could tie really well into existing discovery features like Flow, while adding a more gamified and social element.

Some possible benefits:

  • Encourages users to explore new songs in a fun way
  • Makes playlist creation feel like a game rather than a task
  • Could be shared with friends or even turned into a daily challenge leaderboard

I know the community values clear and focused ideas (one topic = one idea), so I’d love to hear your thoughts on this specific concept.

Would you use a feature like this?
Should it be solo, competitive, or social?
Any improvements to make it more engaging?

Thanks for reading curious to see what others think! 🎶

Hi @Hellen charless !

Something similar to "word chain" (if not the same) already exists in our community.
