๐Ÿค  With Country Music on My Side... Today I recommend Carolyn Miller | Carolyn Miller ๐Ÿ‘€

ย

Carolyn Miller is a country-pop artist born and raised on Long Island, New York, whose career path has a rather unique component within the current country music scene. Before dedicating herself fully to music, she worked as a child actress in television, film, and theater, and later graduated in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory at Berklee College of Music. Although geographically far removed from Nashville, Miller has managed to build an independent career and a significant fan base from New York. Her song "When I Say I Do Today," a wedding ballad she wrote herself, became a viral phenomenon and has been used in thousands of weddings and marriage proposals.

Carolyn Miller's self-titled six-song EP, released on August 21, 2026, represents a new personal and professional chapter. Produced by Frank Legeay, it features Miller's own compositions alongside those of prominent Nashville songwriters such as Maggie Rose, Josh Kerr, Emily Shackelton, and Matt McKinney, exploring themes of love, resilience, self-discovery, and motherhood. The tracks include "Fighting For You," "Save It," "I'll Always Be," "Worst At Letting Go," "Lucky You," and "American Heartbeat," the latter holding particular personal significance for Miller due to her connection to Long Island and the memories of the 9/11 attacks. The self-titled EP is no coincidence: for the artist, it represents the convergence of all aspects of her life and the feeling of finally finding her own artistic identity.
