The Sex Pistols released only one official studio album during their original career: Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (1977). 

While they released the soundtrack The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle (1979) and numerous compilations like Flogging a Dead Horse (1980) later, Never Mind the Bollocks is considered their sole proper studio album. 

The band was famously active for only a short period, with most subsequent albums being soundtracks, compilations, or re-recordings .
