2023 is coming to an end and a lot has happened this year at Deezer.
The entire Community team wants to share their highlights on Deezer and we invite you all to do the same in the comments! ⭐

The rebranding was undoubtedly the highlight of the year, and everyone worked very hard to make it possible. And although some may not agree, I increasingly like the vibrant colours, design, and graphics. But aside from the rebranding, what I really enjoyed this year were the various Deezer Sessions, especially the Rooftop Sessions in the Summer on the rooftop of our HQ in Paris, with guest DJs like Alok and Purple Disco Machine, or the special edition in Amsterdam with Claptone. And lately, the sessions with renowned artists, such as Arlo Parks, Gregory Porter, and Jon Batiste. I hope 2024 brings only good things and we can take the Community experience to a whole new level.
Jaime, English and Spanish Community Manager

It's been a year of big changes for Deezer, and one of the highlights for me has been our iconic rebrand, which signals the renewal of Deezer with more confidence, and a bolder look that goes way beyond just our logo. I'm also proud to see the Super User team grow with two new faces joining us. I can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for us, and to continue offering artist and product experiences, competitions and even more exclusive Deezer community content!

2023 has been the first year for me at Deezer and it has been fun to dive into the world of music. Creating interesting content, coming up with cool new projects for the Community and getting to know our users a bit more has definitely been a great experience. A highlight for me, as for most of my teammates, has been the big rebrand. It was interesting to see the process of this and the passion and creative energy in all Deezer departments to make it happen this year. I am very excited for the new year and what's yet to come.

It was a year of a lot of learning. Going through a rebranding is enriching. I hope next year is full of learning. - Fabio, Brazilian Community Manager

I had a few highlights this year, firstly I joined the French Community after a year on the support team (progressing is always a great achievement), secondly our rebranding which, as bold and daring as it was, was a really cool and important change to be a part of, and lastly the new Purple Door project which I loved launching on the Community ! :) Bring it on 2024 ! For me, 2023 stands out as an extraordinary year. The Deezer rebrand was the remarkable moment of this year, I am deeply struck, not only by its visual transformation but also by its positioning in the world of music, embracing a deeper change, emphasising the platform's commitment to creating a dynamic and inclusive environment for music enthusiasts around the world. Another highlight of this year was the opportunity to see users who joined and actively participated in our Community. Their enthusiasm, insights, and willingness to share their knowledge about the Deezer app have truly charmed me and made my commitment to them grow exponentially. I couldn't end without talking about my journey in the Deezer Community. In just six months I have learned so much and had the opportunity to collaborate in several projects with all my colleagues. That being said it is a great joy to be part of the Deezer Community team.

My personal highlight in Deezer this year was the implementation of gapless playback in the web player which started to rollout one year ago at the end of 2022. It was the missing link, as I could finally listen to complete operas, prog rock concept albums etc. with lossless streaming without interruption and even scrobble them to Last.fm on my most used listening setup over my Windows PC and my old stereo gear. 🤗

2023 was a good year for me. That year I was able to experience a wonderful development in my work on a personal level. And then 2023 is just the beginning.

And here in our community I noticed that I enjoy helping people. And I started doing this more and more often. And I was asked to become a superuser.

As I wrote, I really enjoy helping Deezer users and sharing each other's music preferences.

I really don't know everything, I can't help everyone, but where I can, I will.

I'm proud to have been a part of the Community this year.

I always promote your product, but honestly the brand change was a big flaw, it's awful in every sense.

The fact that the most popular and commented posts in this community are the ones complaining about the logo and brand changes says a lot.

Hopefully you will revert and fix it in 2024.

Casting still does not work at all, and the issue has not been resolved since 2018. Instead, we got an ugly rebranding that was purely focused on form, not function.

So I hope 2024 will be a better year than the last.
