This new project is designed to be a club record, evoking and channelling the raw energy of the illegal London rave scene where Charli began performing during her teenage years. Described by Charli herself as "for the girls who like to party and sweat and rave", "Brat" is a high-energy rollercoaster with 15 tracks that take you from the neon-lit club to the depths of her diary.

Officially announced on February 28, 2024, "Brat" comes with a promise of gritty, dance-floor-ready tracks that reflect her roots in the underground music scene. The announcement was strategically timed just a day before the release of the album's lead single, "Von dutch," which has already generated significant buzz. 
 

To give fans an early taste of the album, Charli performed a Boiler Room set earlier in February, debuting new tracks like "365" and "Spring Breakers". These previews have heightened anticipation for the album, as fans eagerly await the full release to experience Charli's latest evolution in sound.
