Celebrating the Fab Four 
Every year on June 25th, people worldwide unite to celebrate the legendary band The Beatles.

Being the anniversary of a key point in the band's career, Global Beatles Day is very important not only for the reputation of the band but also for all their fans who loved and admired their music. On June 25th, 1967, The Beatles' 
made television history when they appeared on the BBC show Our World, where millions of people waited hours to watch the band perform live and when their famous hit song "All You Need Is Love" inspired a powerful sense of unity and harmony throughout all the communities in the world who were present. This historic broadcast led to the creation of Global Beatles Day.
Global Beatles Day was the idea of Faith Cohen (back in 2009), a fan of the band who wanted to create a holiday that honours The Fab Four ongoing legacy. Faith Cohen described the occasion as "a thank you or love letter to The Beatles."
The holiday has grown in popularity as fans unite to celebrate the music and essence of The Beatles on a global scale. The wide variety of events and activities celebrated on Global Beatles Day is one of its distinguishing characteristics.
