The charismatic frontman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis, decided to bring all that explosive stage energy straight to your mornings. The iconic vocalist took his love for caffeine to the next level with the launch of JOLENE Coffee, a ready-to-drink coffee brand he co-founded with his lifelong best friend, Shane Powers.

The best part of it all is how it started from scratch. As it turns out, Anthony and Shane have shared a tradition for over 20 years. No matter what, they meet up once a week to grab a good coffee and "fix the world" with a great chat. JOLENE was born right out of that personal ritual.

Two On-The-Go Options

The brand is designed for active people who are always on the move, and obviously, for live music lovers! For now, they’ve launched with two super convenient canned options:

  • Black: A slow-steeped Black Cold Brew. Ideal if you like your coffee intense, smooth, and ultra-refreshing.
  • White: An Oat Milk Latte that blends Cold Brew with oat milk. It’s the perfect choice if you're looking for something creamier with a touch of sweetness.

With a Cause and Plenty of Rhythm

A key detail is that JOLENE's beans come from a cooperative of women producers in Peru, so besides drinking incredible coffee, you're directly supporting coffee-growing communities.

And the name? It has a very cool double meaning. On one hand, it plays on the famous English expression "cup of Joe" (a affectionate nickname for coffee), and on the other, it’s a clear tribute to Dolly Parton's legendary song, Jolene.

With this, Anthony proves to us that creativity knows no bounds. Now, in addition to getting our bodies moving with the Chili Peppers, he also gives us that energy boost we need to kickstart the day. Honestly, cracking open one of these cans while Californication or Can't Stop plays in the background sounds like the ultimate plan.
