The BET Hip-Hop Awards ceremony is a true celebration of hip-hop and African-American culture, with incredible performances and unforgettable moments. Yesterday was the broadcast of the 2024 ceremony, a look back at a night that had everyone vibrating!
This year, the competition was fierce! In the Artist of the Year category, we found giants like 21 Savage, Cardi B, Drake, Future, GloRilla, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj and Kendrick Lamar. It was ultimately Kendrick Lamar who took home this prestigious award!
For Song of the Year, the nominees included powerful tracks like “Agora Hills” by Doja Cat, “FTCU” by Nicki Minaj, and “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar, who was also crowned the winner.
In the Best Album category, we had iconic projects like Nicki Minaj's "Pink Friday 2", which won the award, as well as albums from Drake, GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion.
And let's not forget the Best International Flow category, which showcased talented artists from around the world, including French artists SDM and Leys MC, however, the British Ghetts won the title this year. 👏🏽
The performances were also very cool, 2 Chainz, GloRilla, Juicy J and Soulja Boy were among the artists who lit up the night.
