songs are unavailable for me but not my friend

One Hit Wonder

Hi, i want to listen to a new release, the iOS deezer app shows me the album and songs but when I try to play them it says they‘re not available. My friend using Deezer in the same country also with Premium subscription can play the songs. Why is that?

That does sound unusual, but it can happen. A few things you might want to check:

  • Make sure neither of you is using a VPN or proxy (or connected to a network that does), since that can affect licensing restrictions (regional availability).

  • Cache issues: on iOS, logging out and back in often helps. On Android, you can clear the app cache in settings.

  • Confirm you’re both using the official Deezer app, not a modified version.

        Hi! It was the album Golden Hour Pt. 4 by ATEEZ,

        i don‘t know what was wrong but a few hours later I could listen to the songs, it just took almost a day longer for he songs to become available to me.
