When I share a profile link, i think it should be opened in the deezer app instead of the browser. Also on a mobile device there should be a mobile page for that if deezer app is not installed. Right now it openes a blank page on android and a generic deezer startpage on iOS.
Also in iOS i was not able to find a profile by using the search function in the app.
Sharing a profile link in the app would also be a good feature.

Hi, I'm using android. This is not working and in the app on the profile, there is no link to share.
Android v. 13, MIUI 14. Link opens in browser and because of the mobile view there appears a generic deezer site. Also not asking to open the link in an app.

First let me tell you that Deezer do not promote on mobile the sharing or profile links, so that is why you have that experience on iOS.
When my colleague said it should work on iOS, indeed it should, but only for content not for profiles.
Nevertheless, for Android devices, I have just tested here on my Android phone and I got both options to open a link shared via WhatsApp. Check the screenshot below.
So if you don’t get the same options, maybe it is because at some point one default option was selected
In that case, you will need to go under Android Settings and delete/change the default setting you have for Deezer links.
Possibly it's not the sams on different Android devices...

Why not? I think this would make perfect sense. So my thread was opened just because of my opinion that this would be great if there where sharing links for content and profiles and that they should be opened in the app.
