Order of my favourite playlists

Hello

 I cannot find a way of fixing the order of my playlists.

See screenshot.

I tried A-Z ordering and what you see in the screenshots is the result. Clearly not correct. I have 145 playlists. The screenscrape shows the first 17. After this the ordering looks fine.

I have this problem with the apps on my phone and Mac.

 I’ve tried replacing the incorrectly ordered playlists with new ones having the same names, but the same problem occurred.

 Not the most important problem in the World but it would be nice to fix it. Anyone seen this problem before? Anyone know how to fix it?

On my PC (Windows ) I can reorder my Playlist  :

  • All
  • Personal
  • Added
  • Collaborative

or

  • A-Z
  • Recently played 
  • Recently updated

Similar is on my android .

 

Do you see that possibility  A-Z etc. on your Mac or is something different !?

Hi @Nina Nebo , thank you for trying to help.

Please see attached screenshot from my Mac. You can see that the problem is exactly the same as on my iPhone.

Very strange.

I guess there is some metadata stored for these playlists that is used for naming, and it has got corrupted.

Yes , I see @keribillen !

I was try open your playlists on my  PC and playlists are from A-Z  .

I don't know why on your PC and phone is not so and it's even weirder that your both devices have the same problem .

 

 Usually is recommended when it comes to technical difficulties try turning your phone/PC off and on again.

Also try logging out and logging back in to your account but I’m not sure If  that will help .

So far no luck after logging in and out on Mac and phone,

Will next try deleting the apps and clearing all the data stored in the devices before reinstalling.

Will let you know how I get on

Full clean re-install on my Mac and iPhone.

Partial success.

A-Z ordering now working on my iPhone.

But not on the Mac.

Much weirdness. 😀

I’ll leave it there. I used my phone, mostly. Having A-Z working on my phone is a big step forward.
