Chromecast always Disconnecting

Hi,

When playing Deezer via chromecast from my ipad or iPhone, it stops and disconnects all the time. (Seems to do so more if i shut the screen of switch apps.)
Doesn’t do so when i play from my imac via a browser.

Very frustrating.
I’ve got the most recent versions of the app.
Any ideas?

Does this also happens when using Chromecast if you are using other apps, like YouTube?

I have the same issue as well; I’ve disabled all power-saving features for the Deezer app, but it always disconnects from my Chromecast within a few minutes of the screen being blank.

Youtube and other apps work just fine.

Also when I start playback when the Chromecast is still connecting, it starts to stream on my phone AND the Chromecast, which I can only stop by stopping the cast, stopping local playback, and then try again.

And then there’s this 8 year neglected issue:

Summary: Chromecast isn’t usable with Deezer, yet they advertise that it should work.
