Why Deezer should return to Xbox

I am a Deezer user and also a regular Xbox player. I wanted to share a suggestion regarding the return of the Deezer app on Xbox.

I understand that maintaining a console application requires development resources and ongoing support, but I believe that having Deezer available on this platform could bring real strategic value in the long term.

Today, many young people use their consoles as complete entertainment devices, not just for gaming. Personally, like many players around me, I listen to music while playing, but on Xbox the main music apps available are Spotify and Apple Music. The absence of Deezer gives your competitors more visibility among a young audience that is building its digital habits.

Even if the number of direct users on console may be smaller than on mobile, being present on Xbox would help strengthen Deezer’s brand image, show that the company follows current user habits, and build loyalty among the next generation of listeners.

A modern Xbox application could be a valuable long-term investment for Deezer’s brand image, especially among gamers and younger users who are discovering music streaming services today.
