Suggest changing behavior of "play next" to create a sub-queue

For example in a playlist "a b c d..", if current song is 'a' and 'c' is choosen to be next, and then 'v' is choosen to be next the queue will be "a c v b.." and not "a v c b.."

Why? Well, it will ease creating of sub-queues, and won't affect the previous usage cases

It's not convenient to create a new playlist every time tou want to hear few songs in a row, or cheate a track sequences in reverse order with the current "play next"

Hey there @Danial

Thanks a bunch for this idea. I've voted for it and have passed it on 😉

Seriously, the queue / play next deezer system is one of the huge downsides of using deezer. Not sure what is the idea behind but it always leaves me frustrated and completely unable to use deezer when I have friends over and everyone just randomly adds music to hear it later whne is their time and everybody elses already been played. Hope they will do sth about it

What do you mean by “NOT NOW”? You said it 4 years ago, this should be intuitive like Spotify’s. Lossless is a good thing, but this play next behavior is so off-putting.

The current queue/play next setup is fully incompatible with how I listen to music. I will often put on a large “liked/favorites” playlist just to have as running background music. From there I will add tracks as I think of them. Often I’ll add a batch of 5-10 tracks at a time. If I add them to the queue, I will never hear them as they are now buried under days worth of listening time. If I add them using “play next” now I have to spend time moving songs around into the order they should have been originally.

I get the need to differentiate from Spotify, but their queuing works the way it does because that’s the way most people like it. I don’t think I can continue with premium until it’s a toggle-able setting at least.
