SONOS - be able to control SONOS via Deezer App instead of SONOS App

Yep I've got a nest hub and Chromecast TV which I can stream to directly from the deezer app with no problems at all, but for my Sonos speakers I still need to go through the cumbersome Sonos app. Chromecast doesn't seem to be the problem, just integration with Sonos.

Bummer. I don’t know enough about Android to give a good answer. As a family we all migrated over to iOS. Why can’t all the tech companies learn to get along? Having said that I still have Apple Music as a back up, it is much better now that they went lossless, but all my playlists are on Deezer. Frustrating.

I will also cancel my subscription for this reason. I am sorry Deezer.

So basically Deezer is not willing to implement this feature. So there's no way to stream directly from the deezer app on an android phone to sonos speakers? You have to go through the Sonos App which is absolutely horrendous. Sad that deezer is not able to provide such a feature, which means, I will not be moving anytime soon and have to stick to spotify. Seems like very sad excuses from deezer and their dev team.

I am also deeply disappointed that nothing has been happening in this respect for years now. I have lost hope as well.

This is really one of the most needed features. Chromecast is quite unstable, and the players' apps are not as featured as the Deezer one. Direct control of speakers, Sonos ones in particular, would be a big improvement.

Deezer is not willing to implement this feature. After keeping promising it for YEARS, but never delivering, they are now suddenly admitting that it is not even on the roadmap. See comments from the community manager Yula on the thread „Sonos Direct play, or lyrics“ for further details (or rather lack thereof).

I am quite mad at Deezer because of this behaviour, as you can imagine. Many people have left Deezer because of this. I will do the same once my 1 year subscription expires.

We definitely hope to be able to achieve that at some point, but we don’t have an ETA yet though.

Has this been sorted yet? I really like Deezer and just signed on for a year, but did not realise this issue. Such a shame. 

Also, does it show in the Sonos app if I am streaming Deezer in HiFi quality? I have a Sonos Arc, but can't see if I am streaming in HiFi when using Deezer.  

Being able to access my SONOS system from Deezer would be greatly appreciated. I listen to music while I’m working outside or spending time on my deck but use Bluetooth devices for this directly from the Deezer app. I would like the ability to come inside and continuing listening by transferring to my SONOS devices. Currently I have to stop Deezer, go into SONOS and try and find where I left off on a playlist or flow and try to resume. I originally started with Tidal as they have this integration but I wasn’t able to upload any of my music that they didn’t have in their catalog which is why I moved to Deezer.
