I propose a new feature: A simple icon/tag that illustrates the current AI rating for a given piece of media. This icon would give the user insight into the degree of AI/ML involvement a piece of art or music carries. Think of it as a "Creative Origin" score, or “Slop Confidence” rating.

The score would be initially determined by a combination of internal system ingestion analysis and crucially, evidence or declarations supplied by the artist/creator on upload. Uploader who find their content tagged with a high score can provide additional evidence to Deezer of the origins to reduce or appeal the rating, while users and consumers can do the same, or flag it as AI/ML.

Like, for Listeners, this idea allows us to make informed decisions about the art we consume and enjoy. We could use it to filter our playlists, customise our Flows, and consciously decide our level of exposure to different creation methods and AI/ML.

For the Artists, It would help create a space for honesty and provenance clarity allowing the new realities of our mediums to stand with clearer delineations of the shades of AI/ML tooling used in showcasing the works. This will help avoid penalising artists who use AI creatively and ethically, and properly contrast the medias who pride themselves on non-AI tooling or generation.
