"Shuffle my music" gone :(

So this means if you want to shuffle all your music, you need to favourite everything?

This does not appear to restore the original functionality of the shuffle all option.

I agree, this is not the same functionality at all! I have nothing in favourites. What I used to do with the functionality that removed was to shuffle all my songs of my playlists which was really awesome!!! Please restore it!

Hi, the "shuffle my music" button was replaced with this shuffle icon next to favourites, which may be confusing. But it does just the same thing really. The old functionality you want is there. 

I do not have a single favourite song, not even one. But when I click on that icon I get a random mix of all my playlists and my albums. It usually works great.

Flow on the side will still play as always from your artists, genres and recently played songs as well as new recommendations.

On website you can also click on "automatic recommendations" to get some new artists suggestions when playing from "shuffle my music". If you do this while synchronizing the playlist for all your devices, you will also get recommendations on your mobile app.

It does not always work fine but usually it does.

Same to me, it does not work if you don’t have songs on favourites, it says “you need to add more music to your favourites first”, so it is not the same functionality, it is completely different. There is no way anymore to shuffle the songs you have in your playlists which is very disappointing especially when you are out for a walk or running and you don’t want to stop all the time in order to choose

I see. That is weird. It seems to work only for some people then 

That exact same thing happens to me in my LG TV Deezer app. I get that same message because I have no favourite songs although I have hundreds of playlists and albums.

But it works ok on the website with the browser in the same TV and also in android app. Let's hope they sort it all out soon. 

When using the shuffle button (Shuffle my music) Deezer will select songs that Deezer thinks you would like depending on your favourites:

And I get 70 songs, that aren’t favourites always, but from artists I follow or artists Deezer think I would like.

But that is not what the "Shuffle my music" feature is supposed to do. 😮 It should only select songs from your favorite tracks, albums, and playlists. It should not add songs that Deezer thinks you might like. There are other functions for that, such as Flow. I insisted for over two months with the support team for the "Shuffle my music" feature to be back within the limits of my library. Now that it has finally returned to working as it should for me, it is really strange that it starts to work differently for you...

Dear Deezer developers, please stop doing what you are doing with this feature and roll your code back to where it was like 10 days ago 😣 

It was working perfectly, but now it’s again all over the place. When using the web version it’s like a 50/50 mix of the songs I rarely hear and songs being added to “shuffle all” feature all the time.

In iOS app it’s even worse - I am constantly listening to the same few songs, just like it was ~month ago.

I checked the most recent updates and couldn’t see any changes on the feature “Shuffle my Music”

This feature that now presents in a form of an icon on top right corner of the screen on mobile application and is the replacement of the old bottom “Shuffle my Music” ​@Dawg (can you find it)?

It creates a queue based on all content that exists on your favorites - Favourite tracks, playlist and albums.

Like ​@awesomemac mentioned, you will see in the queue, tracks with a heart that are on your fav tracks but also some without that will belong to one of your fav albums or playlist.

So for test purpose, I just created a new account, added a couple of albums and playlists, pressed “Shuffle my Music” and works fine like it works for ​@Marcormark.
