Select multiple songs in a row per "Shift+click"

Yes, it’s a bit between the two. As some users mentioned, it can cause them physical trouble when they have to repeat the same operations many times.

Unfortunately, it’s been requested many times for a very long time (6 years) and not just here, so I don’t expect them to ever fix it. How difficulty can it be, really? I’m pretty sure it’s a feature already available in the Electron framework.

I’m not sure of the state of the Android or iOS app, but the Windows app would need a lot of work to be considered fine.

This was first passed on to “the right team” seven years ago. Trying to update a playlist where the order of the songs matters and I need to move 60 tracks at once to a different point. Should be two clicks and a drag, not 60 clicks.

I took 47 email exchanges to get one of two corrupted tracks fixed; the other one was finally fixed by sheer luck because my post here was seen by a CM.

After that sort of experience (which isn’t the first one), I have little hope of any serious change being made to the app that comes from a bug report, let alone a suggestion.

After 7 years there is still no way to easily select and move multiple songs!?

Bumping again, this is ridiculous. I ended up reverse engineering API calls to move 600 songs between playlists, because it was faster than clicking 600 times. Yuck.
