Search option from every screen

I also find it frustrating to have to navigate multiple screens just to get to a search bar especially since it's something I use so frequently. Doesn't make sense. 

Our dev team and product managers are aware of this @John Tan   so we hope our Search team can deliver something like that soon :thumbsup_tone2:

search team? you are divided then to develop an specific area of app. Mmmm…..where is favorite team or heart team?
we , deezerins, have to talk with them

@walker it depends on the part of the app, Search is multi-platform and it's super important 

This is deezers biggest flaw at the moment, endlessly scrolling back pages to find the relevant search button.

We get that completely @svartpelz, especially on Android, right?

Hey, it seems like this topic has been out for quite a few months already but there's still been no implementation of this feature. Searching for songs is so important. Especially when building playlists and also if you've migrated from another platform.

If you wish to retain new users I would suggest implementing better navigation within the app. The bottom bar should always be visible, per Material Design guidelines for Android. And Search should be an easily accessible function. And even when you have your search results, like you to go an artist page, then you click on their discography and then on an album and play a song or add it to a playlist, it should be one single click away to return to the search field.

I am a new user and creating playlists is a nightmare especially because of the clunky interface when it comes to search and navigation. Otherwise I quite like Deezer.

Is there any progress on this? At least a Home button on each screen of a Search button is too difficult. 

Thanks for contributing with your opinion @John Tan. We haven't heard about this being developed but it's something we're aware of for quite some time.
