Search music by Record Label // Record Label name below album or track

Name of label is available after the track list of an album/ep etc.

Linking the label name to a list of album/records/artists of the same label would be very useful.

No results for, as an example, label: "tzadik" or label: "tzadik records" on the macOS desktop application.

For what it’s worth, it seems to be url-encoding my search — my results screen reads “No results for “ label%3A “tzadik””

Hi @tjgavlick

Try without space after :

It could be because of the name of the label too. The tracks you're looking for could have a different label name. We've taken this feedback and passed it to the Search Team :thumbsup_tone2:

I opened Deezer app and tried to search releases of a record label. It didn’t work. It didn’t work with any label name I’ve entered. It has to do with some characters or something.

One time it didn’t work on browser too. Will this ever be fixed?

Hi there @Igor.Arnautovic23

Thanks for reporting this. Yes, at the moment it seems to be working only on web. Can I ask you what version of our app do you have?

Our devs are looking into this already :thumbsup_tone2:

Don’t forget that frefre also asked for linking label names to label catalogues, much like we can click on an artist name to go to their page, we should also be able to click on label name to go inside their catalogue.

That's an ace suggestion @Buckie. Why not have a hyperlink option for labels too? I like it

"%3A" is an ASCII code for the character ":".
So, there must be some encoding bug in the search program.
I have solved this problem by the following process.

(1) First, search by the words "label:"Ocora"".
An error message says No results for ""label%3A"Ocora""
and the search words has changed to "label%3A"Ocora"".

(2) Then again, search by the same words "label:"Ocora"".
This time, I can get a normal result for the Ocora label.

It works for me, thank you.

I am looking now at DJ Beat Records releases. So easy to find new music.

Subscribed yesterday from closing GPM and their options like this nowhere to be found.

I can find so much more music with Deezer, will never look back for Google Music!

The feature for a simple way to search by label seems to be is widely requested. The suggestion made by Buckie above seems to be the most logical way to do this...

@Deezer team: any reason why this doesn’t get implemented?

Love Deezer anyway but that would make it even better!
