Resume playback on Favorites

Sounds like a good idea. I don’t know if Deezer is willing or able to implement this in a future update, but count me in.

I fully agree with @beans4028's suggestion to resume playing favorited songs from where they left off. This would be a fantastic addition, especially for those of us who listen to the same playlist regularly. I’d like to emphasize that constantly starting from the same song can make even our favorite playlists feel repetitive. By saving our progress within the playlist, Deezer would keep the experience fresh and enjoyable, ensuring that all tracks get their fair share of playtime. This feature would not only improve user satisfaction but also keep us engaged with our favorite music.

I’d also like to add that a friend from my gym recently complained about the instructor playing the same songs every day, making the workouts feel monotonous. I’ve experienced a similar frustration when my favorite playlist always starts with the same track. Allowing playlists to resume where they left off would not only enhance personal listening experiences but could also be a great way to keep environments like gyms lively and engaging by avoiding repetitive song choices.

There is a workaround for this if you enable syncing the queue in the audio settings which will save the last track of a playlist or your favorites also when restarting the app. When you want to listen to an album in between, you have to add the tracks to the queue then to play next though, not start the album separately.
