Congratulations on the redesign!

However the new sidebar in the desktop/web app puts a lot of focus on playlists, which I don’t really use.

The old sidebar was giving quick access to albums, artists, podcasts and other relevant parts of my library, which are now hard to access.

Would you please consider re-adding shortcuts to useful sections of the library?

Maybe a way to do it would be to have a “pin” feature with which users could easily customize/rearrange their sidebar. If you use Deezer for podcasts and playlists, have this in the sidebar. If you use Deezer for albums and radio, have this in the sidebar. Doesn’t have to be extremely complex, but that could be a way to cover more use cases.

Otherwise, a way to fold/unfold sections. I would unfold “Favourites” to show albums, artists, etc, but I would fold “Playlists” not to see the list underneath.

Hoping you can give it a though! Thanks!

Yes! Definitely, we need this.

Funny thing is, on the frontpage of the Deezer website it shows an example of the implementation:

How is this still not implemented if you advertise with this (I recently jumped back to Deezer and was expecting this functionality to be honest).

The new Quick Access feature in the left sidebar is also available in the new desktop version 7.1.0 now, the web player got it a few days ago. Here is a screenshot in German, “Schnellzugriff” means Quick Access:

You can choose your pins from a popup window showing the options when clicking on “Pin content” with a plus sign below your chosen pins. You can choose up to 8 pins and unpin them with a 3-dot dropdown menu for each pin.
