Podcasts and the order of episodes (Playing in chronological order etc.)

Hi @ariane82 at the moment the order of episodes of a podcast depends on how the distributor and creator want to upload it and Deezer users to see it: either chronological or the newest episode first. 

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. 

When you launch an episode from a podcast, you have a “waiting list” in the right corner of the player.

There we can reorder the list of all the podcast episode.

But you cannot save the reordered list, or add a single episode in a personal playlist as a favorite.

So Deezer is useless for audiobooks or documentaries.

Nobody cares about music today, we can already hear it through hundreds of means. Deezer offers nothing better than any other.

But audio shows? Book reading? Online conferences?

That’s the new feature Deezer could capitalize on… only if we can order whatever we want in whatever order we want.

It would be great if I could order Shows/podcasts from specific author by release date, therefore I can start listening from the first one.

This feature is currently missing from the web player.

I’m currently on a Deezer trial. Noticing this issue was quite shocking to me. Noticing it doesn’t look like it will be solved soon has made me decide not to go forward with a subscription.

Two years have passed since this issue was raised. Are there plans to roll out a solution this quarter?

I’ve found this “feature” of Deezer really annoying - bit disappointing to see this raised over 2 years ago and find that nothing has actually happened. This shouldn’t be a difficult fix.

I wonder if Spotify handles Podcasts any better?

3 years later this is still an issue, unless I am missing something!?
