Personas: Separating the work-me from the family-me (fencing the algo)

Hi there

I recently switched to Deezer and came across the following issue with the almighty algorithm:

I have vastly different music-styles at work and at home (and sports and sleeping).

At work I am a metalhead. At home I play whatever fits the mood and season. Right now: Christmas. This results in me, micro-managing the algorithm in order to keep the jingle-bells from popping up all over.

My request: Allow the creation of Personas. In essence: a persona separates everything I listen to, algorithmically speaking. This would prevent the family me, polluting the recommendations of the work me with children songs and Christmas carols. And the other way around. Or sports. Or sleeping. My work-persona would also get only recommendations that 100% fit the music I listen to at work. Also: Separate playlists, flows etc…

I can imagine this might be easy to implement as it is, in essence, creating a new user-profile. Just without extra password, device settings etc. Like the profiles we have in our beloved video-streaming apps.

I hope I could express myself clearly enough.
Thank you for your support and happy holidays to you all.

Cheers
