Option to disable the automatic background color change

Guys....seriously, we have to talk about this last Android update. What. Tha. Hell. is that automatic background color change everytime I skip a song? It's such a enfuriating thing to have a white background striking your eyes at midnight when you just want to put some calm music in order to get ready to sleep.

SERIOUSLY

You need to make that coloured background optional! Give us the possibility to disable that, it's so annoying!

    Hey,
    I'm a bit late but this has been implemented quite recently in the mobile app :)
    Just go to Settings > Display settings, and you'll see two toggle switches:
    • Dark mode: switch between light and dark mode.
    • Monochrome player: switch it on to disable adaptative background/accent color change.
    Even with monochrome player on, the notification color will still change based on the album cover, though.

      That could be an issue with the Beta app, so I'll be passing it on to our devs. Thank you @TedGrassman 🙂

      @Rudi The main issue is fixed in the Beta app thanks to the monochrome player setting (it works fine on my phone: the background stays dark grey) :)
      The only remaining "issue" (it is not one for me) is that the notification color still change with monochrome player on.

      I just have to say something hilarious. I don’t know if my ad blocker is doing weird things or something is wrong with Deezer but… I am not paying anything, I am on Free Plan yet… I can pick any song, skip to any part of it, not have ads, can skip any song and can listen to any song. I also have best sound Quality. WHY??? The only things I can’t do are: Quizzes, listen Offline.

      i would love a setting to have the app on dark mode, but the player itself (the music player where the cover is displayed and controls) is on X color. i would love red personally for all tracks/albums etc. as well the android widget. it would be nice to be able to set a color for the player and for the widget. in my case red with black letters and the deezer logo in a darker shade of red (like same red color but with a pixelated shade of the logo making it darker) i also support an option like the other uses to set all to dark mode. or colors if you wish as myself to set colors. hope i am not asking like a total code rewrite of the app itself LOL.
