Offline mode / Download for Desktop App

Hi, I want to suggest you adding offline mode for a PC. Sometimes I can` t use my internet for listening music because of limits. I want to download some my most popular tracks.

the current desktop app for pc/mac is a beta version, I believe the "offline" feature is planned (and hopefully soon!).
I'm a "Deezerhead" (fanboy) and just love music! (Please note even though I love all things Deezer I do not work for Deezer and therefore cannot assist with account issues etc.)

Its not fair that premium subscribers still cant download on laptop/Pc this should be fixes a.s.a.p.

@Jack_ heyya! Can't tell you an exact date, I'm afraid. But worry not, we are very keen to share the offline mode for the desktop app with you as soon as possible! 🙂

Hi!

I've been using Deezer on my Mac, PC and iPhone for a year now (28th of June will be an anniversary 🙂. And I wonder how long it takes to get back the download-offline feature that has already been in the previous version of the desktop app (1.2.3 build 4312, for instance)!

New app is great, but offline listening is being teased for more than half of a year now.

Is there at least some expected timeframe for bringing this feature back to the desktop app?

That would at least ease the wait 🙂

I'm using my old notebook for music on parties. It still has Windows7. Unfortunately I hat to rebuild the OS after a HDD crash and now I installed the Deezer desktop app by download (v.0.8.). The beta version doesn't allow the offline modus!!!!!!!! In the web I couldn't find the older version of the app for re-installing. Does anybody could help me with this pre-beta version by sending via mail to hasiputzi23@gmail.com? Thanks a lot. The birthday party of my son will be next weekend and I will be lucky to get it fixed until this date....

I've uploaded the better previous standalone version for OSX (It's the native OSX app, completely different to the new one that's written in electron/browser based)

Installed Desktop app (version 4.0.5) on my PC (Windows 10). Downloaded a couple of albums to hear off-line.
BUT when offline cannot log into app to access content. Cannot find any setting when on-line to allow off-line access.
This feature does not work and should not be promoted as such.
Looks like Spotify will get my custom.

Is there seriously still no offline mode on desktop ??? this is ridiculous ! I'll be moving soon to Spotify is this is not solved over the summer !

I have Deezer v4.18.11 on my pc. Where is the offline mode? I have a premium account.

Thanks for reaching out to us. There's no button for offline mode but you can download songs if you're a paid subscriber, and then, listen to them offline :wink:

just block internet connection for deezer in my firewall setting to listen my downloaded playlist offline to make sure no latency drop and packet loss when I play online gaming :grin:

hopefully offline mode coming soon so I  can play downloaded playlist offline even I have working internet connection

Wow the only reason I wanted Deezer was for my mac laptop DJing and the feature of being able to download for offline use. NOOOOO WHERE DOES IT SAY IT WONT WORK ON LAPTOPS On signing up to pay for it in all the things it offers.This is crap wtf, oh we will have it in the future does me no good now. If spotify can do it so should you guys after all you all copy each other. The fact that probably your number 1 users are D/J s and most using VDJ because for some reason  u both shook hands on a dumb deal and they didnt bring in Spotify we all now have to suffer ? Wow how sad. If you want to be the best then have all the latest features. Its a good thing I read the form before I D/J ed the wedding and had all the songs from Deezer in my saved list. I would of got there and they say oh sorry we dont have internet and wow all my hard work making a list wont PLAY OMG I WOULD BE SOOO PISSED and most likely sued even for not have there music WTF really FIX IT ALREADY.
