Not for now

No automatic track "mixes" in search results playback, make it an option.

It seems there are others who don’t like the new “feature” of automatically playing a random mix from a song in a search result, but there is no idea to bring back the old behaviour and/or make this a switchable option, I think.

This had already been available in the iOS app for a long time, as far as I know, and then was implemented in the other apps as well. But it does not allow to simply sort and play the found tracks in a row anymore which was one of the best Deezer features compared to other providers.

Here are some related forum threads, but there may be more:

Just switched from Spotify. Liking everything well enough to stick around except for this. This feature being difficult to work around and impossible to turn off is seriously irritating. I understand its purpose and intention. I intend to use it at my own discretion. Let me turn it off when I don’t want to use it, please!

On Tidal, there's an option that prevents playing recommended tracks once the queue ends.

Why is this useful? I use my smartphone to fall asleep to music. Ever since I switched to Deezer, my phone battery systematically dies overnight. While there is a sleep timer option, I don't always think to turn it on before going to sleep.

I really like Deezer, but I'll have to switch to another service if this isn't fixed.

I'm coming from Spotify because I figured why not pay a French company for music as a service?

How I regret choosing the yearly plan. How could I have thought the app was so bad and the practices so user despising. I am this close to stop Deezer after ten days because the app is so infuriating.

I selected a song and then some other songs start to play. Mostly badly chosen. Billie eilish after Aurora, what, why, how? Stop, please just stop. Now how can I opt out of this option ? On Android impossible. Deezer knows better, obviously.

I decided to start paying for music to stop having to endure audio pollution. Otherwise I can go to the supermarket, they do impose the music I have to listen to too.

I do not want track mix. I know how to create a playlist if I want one.

At least Spotify doesn't force algorithmic choices to me, if I refuse. What about my individuality?

Lastly, but representative of respect given by Deezer to its customer is the print screen I pasted below. I do not want to allow Deezer push notification, that's way too intrusive for 'just music'. What could be immediately important coming from Deezer?

Allowing me to answer "activate" or answer later? Is it your definition of empowering your users? This makes me vomit. So while using the app you're gonna spam me until I accept that you spam me even when I am not using the app. This decided me to go back to Spotify. I paid more than 100 euros, but this is way too much shit for me.

Goodbye Deezer. Maybe one day, you'll be more respectful of your users and stop thinking you know better.

"Activate or Later ?" Unbelievable.
