Make Android Auto heart button react fast

While driving, you obviously shouldn't look away from the road.

The heart button is great, but it's easy to misclick.

So when I like a song, I have to click, look, and wait until the heart changes to filled, which can take a second or two. So I'll keep going back and forth between the road and Android Auto, checking if I actually pressed it right.

Why should the button wait for confirmation?

Why shouldn't it instantly be filled to give me immediate feedback that I clicked it?

Are you handelling rare cases where liking the song fails in the background?, I'm fine with those cases
