Ignore diacritics in search

Could it be possible to make any search bar ignore diacritics? As to make “ó/ë/å/ï/ etc.” searchable with the ‘base’ of the character.

As an example, I’ve got a playlist called “Skálmöld”. The only ‘easy’ way to find it is by only typing “sk”. When I type “ska” the playlist disappears in the search results..
