Our catalog on HiFi is now so big that the app will stream in FLAC if the audio settings are set to HiFi. So no need to look specific for FLAC tracks.
If you can't see the HiFi option in Deezer Labs, have a look at our Beta program here ;)

So all of your catalogue is available as FLAC now, i.e. more than 53 million tracks?

And are you saying that the beta version of the iOS app offers HiFi playback already in the Deezer Labs settings? What about the Android app and the web player?

Not all of it, we currently have reported 56 million tracks and 52 million of those are already available on HiFi. So pretty close, our best ever.

Yes, iOS has this test feature under Deezer Labs for streaming HiFi to other devices. Just like Android has other Labs features iOS doesn't have. The reason for testing is to get it developed across different platforms but some features are easier to implement in specific devices.

Just started by 30 day trial for Deezer HiFi, and am a little disappointed to find out that i can't listen to flac quality on my iphone. Ex-stream-ly disappointed. The differences between mp3 and flac become even more apparent with headphones, and I do a lot of listening with headphones. But this is twice as expensive as spotify, and HiFi playback is limited to certain options. Kind of a bummer.

We're sorry that's the case. We haven't stopped working on improving the HiFi experience, but it was initially designed for HQ speakers which offer the feature as well. I'll be passing your feedback on, thank you for your support.

I don't see how Tidal and Qobuz can manage hifi even MQA quality on android and iOS but you guys wont even try to bring Hifi to smartphones. If the Hifi experience was designed for high quality speakers why can we use them with high quality headphones too? I want to like Deezer but finding out you cant even stream HIFI from my galaxy note(which supports whatever is needed to stream hifi) makes me really glad i got a free trial.

Firstly - dark mode ! Finally, thanks. However, hi-fi on mobile is an absolute must !! The headphone market is exploding right now too, so I would capitalize on that.

Come on guys, Deezer won't implement this... For 1-2 developers it should be ~ 1h of work - if they are lazy and doing other stuff at that time, too.

They already have the whole service with all the infrastructure behind this. Every garbage music player app from our App Stores brings FLAC support or the phones are directly supporting it.

I own a pair of Shure's SE535 for ~ 370 € and I do own a portable DAC. HiFi would be a no brainer for me.
Even if you don't know how to use "HiFi" properly, Deezer would have your money for this.

That's the reason why I don't really know why even this poll exists. It should be a no brainer for Deezer, too. Just ensure, that your CDN is set up properly and do you financial math work, so you won't be surprised if your CDN provider wants some more dollars/euros.
